The last fashion trends of autumn 2008, winter 2009 are carrot trousers.

Despite of the renaissance in dress fashion, many women prefer wearing trousers everyday. Trousers are practical for a business woman, besides a mannish appearance is always on modern lines.

The two ascending fall styles are the easy high waisted flared trousers from boot cut to the widest 1970's flares. But the style getting attention is a slim line version of the peg-top trouser line, which was fashion in 1980s. These peg-top pants sometimes now called carrot-top pants taper to the ankle, and usually have tuck pleat fullness at the waistband. This style can be very appropriate if you have a tummy. Note that too much fullness can make a woman look frumpy. Yves saint Laurent as the centre image shows, did it best. This was sharp and sophisticated designing.

FASHION TENDENCY. FOLK ELEMENTS IN FASHION.

This season modern clothes are becoming variegated and unpredictable. Prints are splendid, colours are rich. Fur and fringing are in the latest fashion.

Folk motifs have influenced accessories of this season as well. Fringes become one of the main trends. Designers and modellers were inspired by national costumes embedding original ornaments, colors and patterns into must-have accessory of this winter 2009 – belts.

Folk and fringe are two things that can't exist separately. One of the most original folk style belts is probably the one in the form of a rope ending in cute fringes, like that shown by Hermes.

To many women a fashionable belt is only valuable in the sense that it serves the function of holding pants or skirt up. But, a proper fashion belt should also act as the frosting on the cake of an attractive dressed individual.

The House of Gucci produced cute trinkets in the form of little puppies and called them GUCCIOLI family. Every little dog has its own name beagle SAM, bulldog AGNESE, french bulldog LEROY, poodle LULU, chihuahua BRANDO, pug OLIVER and dachshund ARTU. Every puppy is decorated with medal with engraving and gold ribbon.
