Modern Tendency. All new - well forgotten old.

GAP - the fashion brand - has presented a new collection of denim which is a transformed version of the collection of 1969.

Many designers were working on the new version of the collection. Their primary goal was to create convenient and qualitative clothes from denim. They had to be made in classical style but adapted for a modern fashion.
As a result we have skinny jeans, denim boots from Pierre Hardy, tops and hats from Albertus Swanepoel.
«Developing the collection, we thought about women's wishes. Every woman wants to feel herself sexy in our clothes, but for men comfort is very important, - said Patrick Robertson the main designer GAP. - for this reason all our models perfectly underline a figure, but thus they are very comfortable».
The collection will go on sale in August of this year.

Fashion News from New York. Not in Fashion by Mark Borthwick

Fashion photographer Mark Borthwick’s racy new tome.

Fashion photographer Mark Borthwick has produced a book with Rizzoli named "Not in Fashion".
The monograph features some of his more memorable pictures, such as a nude Polly Mellon clutching a down blanket and a 21- year-old Chloë Sevigny puffing a cigarette.

The monograph presents more than 200 live images from art of Borthwick, portrait projects, and fashion editorials along with a healthy selection of personal journal entries.
